Tickets and Admissions
For the 2023 season, Sudeley Castle is open daily 20 March - 5 November (closed 6 May and 5 August)
We advise pre-booking tickets online for discounted admission and to guarantee entry. A limited number of tickets may be available to purchase at the door, subject to availability. If you have any difficulties with purchasing tickets online, please contact our Visitor Centre on 01242 604244 or email enquiries@sudeley.org.uk.
Sudeley Castle & Gardens is a member of Historic Houses only and their members receive free general admission. Sudeley Castle remains a privately owned residence and therefore do not offer discounts to National Trust or English Heritage Members.
All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to other dates and times. Tickets can be purchased online on the day if capacity has not been reached.

We have one standard admission ticket that includes access to the Castle, gardens and play area.
For the health and safety of all visitors, children should be accompanied at all times when visiting the Castle & Gardens. Our children tickets are for those aged 3-15 years.
Yes the play area is part of the Castle and Gardens and an admission ticket is required. We have one standard admission ticket which covers the whole site.
Group Bookings

Dogs
We regret that dogs are not allowed in the castle or gardens - including the children’s play area - apart from assistance dogs.
However, dogs are welcome at the Visitor Centre and The Pavilion and there are also footpaths surrounding the grounds including the Cotswold Way, the Wardens Way and the Gloucestershire Way perfect for dog walks, with views of the castle!
Filming and Photography
Visitors are welcome to take photographs throughout the exhibitions and in the Church.
The only area photography is not permitted is within the private Castle Rooms where the family reside. Guides, Volunteers, and signage will define these areas for you on your visit.
Drones are not permitted without prior consent. Drone pilots must request access from the estate office before visiting and will be required to show appropriate documentation including pilots’ licence and insurance.
Absolutely! Sudeley Castle has been used many times for location filming and photography. Our Events team can be contacted to assist with your enquiry events@sudeley.org.uk
Food and Beverage

Yes, we have a picnic area adjacent to and within our Adventure Playground.
Tables, benches, and chairs are also placed outside the Pantry and restaurant for visitors who have purchased food on site. Other benches are also available within the gardens.
We do not currently offer an Afternoon Tea option, but we do have a selection of fresh sandwiches and cake available to purchase.
