Get Ready for Tulah’s Treasure Trove

Next Saturday (13th June) is the launch of The Treasure Trove – Tulah’s fundraising initiative to help support the work of the Cheltenham Animal Shelter. Aside from the pleasurable task of collecting lots of beautiful items to sell in The Treasure Trove, there are important considerations that Tulah, just like every other hostess, has to bear. The past days have seen her contemplating such decisions as what to wear, grooming, decorations and treats for her (canine) guests. Tulah has chosen a very fetching blue collar and bow for the occasion, and has even (reluctantly) agreed to take a bath! All are anxiously checking the weather forecast; soggy doggy friends tend to enjoy a good shake on arrival… and of course like all good hostesses Tulah is hoping that everyone will get on well. The pooch party commences at 9:30am on Saturday 13th June at the Sudeley Castle Visitor Centre – humans are very welcome too! We hope to see you there.

The Treasure Trove – supporting local charities at Sudeley Castle

If you are a lover of beautiful antiques and have enjoyed seeing the treasures of Sudeley Castle, you may wish to take away a very special memento of your visit. Items for sale in The Treasure Trove are pieces purchased by Lady Ashcombe or donated from her own collections, along with generous contributions from Nicholas Granger of British Bespoke Auctions and other friends.

Donations from the proceeds of sales of antique and vintage items will go to help support The Cheltenham Animal Shelter and St Peter’s Youth Group in Winchcombe.

CAS, based in the heart of Gloucestershire, rescues and re-homes unwanted and abandoned stray cats, dogs and small animals. Each year they care for around 1,000 animals at a cost of £500,000 without the help of any Government funding. They rely greatly on the generosity of animal lovers to ensure that their doors remain firmly open.

The Lost in the Willows maze is a joint venture to promote awareness of our precious natural environment and at the same time provides an exciting new attraction for children at Sudeley Castle.
